The “RS” rotary valve in the “ex” version allows this component to be installed in potentially explosive atmospheres where impact resistance and flameproof certification are required to prevent the risk of propagation.
The “RS/ex” rotary valve complies with the restrictive European standard “Explosion Isolation Systems EN 15089”,
with certified resistance up to 10 bar.
The “RS/ex” can be supplied in GS400 ductile cast iron, with nickel plating, or in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel, while the transmission can be via chain drive or direct drive.
